Convert a TellMeGen VCF File
Want to convert your TellMeGen VCF file to raw data format for use on Genetic Lifehacks?
I have created this tool, which has currently only been tested and works with TellMeGen VCF files.
Note that this tool will likely will not work correctly for other companies’ data files. There are many different VCF file formats and reference genomes used by WGS companies.
TellMeGen also offers a CSV file in the downloads section that will work out of the box on Genetic Lifehacks – no need to convert. However, the CSV file doesn’t fill in quite all the blanks on Genetic Lifehacks, so using the VCF converter will give you a fuller picture.
