Connecting to a Raw Data File

On the Member Dashboard, click the Choose File button and select your genetic raw data file. The unzipped .txt or .csv file will work on all browsers (the .zip version will also work in Chrome and Safari).

Once you've connected to your raw data file, the file name will show up.

That's it. Your data should now show up in all of the genotype report sections in the articles and in the summary reports.

Technical details:

The data connection is a temporary cached connection to the data file, and your data isn't uploaded or transferred to the Genetic Lifehacks server.

A data file that is over 50-100MB may not work, depending on the cache size of your computer. Reach out if you have questions about your data file.

You can connect and disconnect from a data file as many times as you want. However, you can only connect to one data file at a time. If you have multiple raw data files for yourself, here's how to combine them into one file.
